In Nebraska the maximum speed limit is 75 mph (121 km/h) on rural interstate highways. This speed limit only applies to Interstate 80 between Omaha and Lincoln, west of Lincoln to the Wyoming state line, and the small section of Interstate 76 that enters the southwestern corner of the state from Colorado to join I-80. The speed limit in rural areas of Nebraska is 65 mph (105 km/h) unless otherwise posted, although the majority of two-lane state highways are posted at 60 mph (97 km/h).
