Other highways generally have speed limits of 55 (89 km/h) mph and in many cases much less.
Hawaii has a minimum speed along much of Interstate H-1 of 10 mph (16 km/h) below the speed limit. The minimum speed is usually 45 mph (72 km/h) when the speed limit is 55 mph (89 km/h), and 40 mph (64 km/h) when the speed limit is 50 mph (97 km/h).
